You know, the irony is, they’re gonna show this cabin as evidence that I’m crazy. But if everyone was content to live simply like this, we’d have no more war, no poverty, no pollution.

You fight this, they’ll call you crazy. Or you plead guilty and go away forever, and your ideas will live on.

Many tame and conformist types seem to have a powerful need to depict the enemy of society as sick so as to delegitimize their valid complaints against society.

Well, this seems pretty serious. And they say if you are ever in serious trouble, you shouldn’t talk without an attorney. So, I think I’ll wait till I have an attorney.

It takes incredible strength and courage to be different from everybody else, but it’s a good thing.
